You can find Amarilis hotel in Štepánská street just 150 meters from Wenceslas Square, walking distance from important landmarks such as the National Museum, the Estates Theater, Karolinum, The Gallus Market, the Old Town Square, the Old Town Astronomical Clock and theTyn church. The latter leading to Charles Bridge, Malostranske square and Neruda street and the Royal Path leading to Prague Castle. In addition, there are also other important sights within the walking distance such as the Municipal House, the Powder Gate, Josefov, Ungelt and Charles Square with Old Town Hall.
The original building was designed around 1929 by one of our foremost functionalists, architect Ludvík Kysela, as a multi-purpose building that is used by Patria, an insurance company and also as luxurious apartments. When reconstruction was implemented, Feng Shui principles were used as well. The aim of the project was to create a pleasant and harmonious space filled with positive energy.
Тhis non-smoking hotel offers accommodation in 67 rooms, individually-designed and in bright light shades. The rooms are in 4-star hotel standard and provide maximum comfort and convenience. The types of rooms found in the hotel are as follows: Luxury room, Superior and Suite. Luxurious rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, a mini-bar, Wi-Fi and LCD satellite TVs while in Superior rooms and Suite you can also find coffee and tea making facilites. The Suite boasts a 2-person Jacuzzi. The Superior rooms and Suite are recommended especially for persons with allergy and clients who prefer using natural materials because there is a wooden floor.
On the ground floor, there is a restaurant called Amaryla, which is an integral part of the hotel furnished according to Feng Shui principles with selected international cuisine aimed at healthy lifestyle. In our menu you will find gluten-free food, vegetarian food, lactose-free food and occasionally food prepared according to Ayurveda principles. All of these meals found on the daily menu are thus properly marked. There is also a permanent menu available during the week, comprising of meals selected by our chef. The restaurant provides two separate lounges, Aquarium and Fiesta, suitable for private reservations, business meetings, celebrations and parties.
