At Czech resorts like Karlovy Vary and Marianske Lazne, besides drinking mineral water, various treatments are prescribed individually by doctors. These include mineral baths and mud wraps to reduce inflammation and joint pain, as well as gas injections and dry gas baths to improve circulation and support kidney function. Electro- and magnetotherapy aid neurological and musculoskeletal issues, inhalations ease respiratory conditions, and physiotherapy supports rehabilitation. Treatments are complemented by diets and walks.
Entry medical check-up
Typically, the initial medical consultation takes place on the day of arrival or the following working day. To ensure a more focused and effective assessment, it is advisable to bring your recent medical examination results with you. Each resort has unique springs, with their composition determining their specialization.
Treatment & procedures
Your personalized program includes usually two to three, procedures incorporating the specific natural resources of the spa (such as drinking cures and baths), with weekends left free for your leisure. This generally amounts to approximately fourteen procedures within a seven-day stay.
